The Tales of Beedle the Bard

I found this book in the library when I was browsing with Adam in the children section. As all Harry Potter's fans know, this particular book was inherited by Hermione from Prof Dumbledore to help the 3 friends in their final quest ie to kill Lord Voldemort.

This book contains 5 short stories, all are magical fairy tales. It also includes comments (or nota kaki) from Prof Dumbledore.

What's interesting is, this book was first not intended for public. The first 7 copies were handmade, ie handwritten and illustrated by JK Rowling, bounded in brown morrocan leather, silver ornaments and semiprecious stones. 6 of them were given to special people who were involved in the making of Harry Potter. The 7th copy were put on auction and were bid at £1.95 million (!!!) by Amazon. The money went to The Children's Voice charity campaign. This is the book that cost nearly 2 million pounds (got this from Wikipedia).

Among the 5 tales, I particularly like 'The Warlock's Hairy Heart'. It is about a warlock, who upon seeing his friends fail and making fools of themselves because of love, decided not to fall in love. So he used dark magic to separate his heart and body (he locks away his heart in a dungeon) so that he won't have feelings. But when the time came that he needed his heart (or feelings), he found that his heart has shriveled and became hairy. It is actually a symbolic event that when you separate yourself from love you descent to beasthood. Because although love actually drains you (emotionally and materially), it is what makes you human (yaaaa anybody is welcome to quote me).

So..which book is actually worth 2 million pounds? (I don't think this book is the answer)
