I took this photo from BBC website. It is a photo of UK taken by NASA's Terra satellite today at around 11.50 am local time.
We are covered in snow at every inch! It has been subzero for a few days, schools are closed, many accidents reported (very icy roads- cars just slide) and the councils are running low in grit salt supplies (this is the substance they use to thaw off snow on roads and to make it gritty so that the roads are safer). They have to import it from Sweden to cover the shortage.
And today's temperature is minus 9 degrees... brrrrrr!

Here's the depth of the snow yesterday's morning, measured by 4K-E. This was taken early morning (almost 6 inches), and the snow showers did not stop until much later.
With the country at almost a standstill (this is the worst winter since 1982 they said), nothing else to do except play in the snow!....and bake choc chip cookies for hungry boys :)
Honestly my brain is also frozen and it's quite difficult to concentrate on anything (tu pasal tak update blog). I wish we have a real fireplace!

Britain has re-entered the ice age.. hehehe :-)
The winter of 1982, I was there. Terribly cold. Trucks and buses could not move because the diesel in the tanks were frozen solid.
Certain places up in Scotland suffered temperatures of -30 C. No joke.
You guys enjoy the snow... but not too much eh. Takut selsema nanti.
